ROLL OVER...?? How to recognize AND Avoid

One of the subjects that we do not usaully train or talk about is roll over.

I would say that it is probably the worst thing that can happend to u, but lets think about it and see the reasons, why did it happened, and at least come come with some good ideas on how to avoid it.


For my small experience in the desert i would say that the reasons would be

1. Going uphill with high speed and not knowing when to take ur foot off the throttle, which will end u up flying over the top of the sand dune.

2. Cresting is one of the major reasons for a roll over if u do not know how to balance ur car, plus in case u have some kind of hard sand after in rains, or hitting bushes when u go side ways.

3. Tire pop out could be one of the reasons if u r going high speed or cresting.

4. Not having enough forward momentum going up hill and then loosing all the forward movement when u try to turn the car back down hill, when the car stops in the middle as u r trying to turn back.

I might add, among many other things:

1. Never brake hard when going down a steep slope.

2. When going down a steep slip face, go straight, if you start feeling that the rear wheels start to move side ways, slightly accellerate and this will cancel out losing the rear.

3. If you are attempting to drive up a steep slope and fail to make it, reverse straight down, do not attempt to steer.

4. When side-sloping on big slip faces, take care of the humps on the side slope, they might throw you off balance and lead to a roll over.

There are many other things to watch out for, I am sure other members will add on to this.

To avoid rollover:

1- Do not violent club trip rules.
2- Do not underestimate the area you play.
3- Do not play in new area (not explored yet).
4- Before you go play go look around and Find out the other things trees, grass, animals, cars and everything around this area then find the entry and the exit. And do the risk assessment evaluations to play……… ((Marshal skills behavior)).
5- Before you play make sure that the area is good for play.


6- After all above if you rollover say قضاء و قدر... قدر الله و ماشاء فعل

I will add some things but I am not sure it is true or not

1- You should balance between your lift kit and Width of car by add Speser


2- You should to know that the short cars (tow doors) is Different Long cars (4 doors) in the point 2, 3 and 4
