My personal opinion that FJ cruiser is perfect car especially as off-road but it has advantage and disadvantage.
Waiting the owners of FJ to provide us with some points generally

Dear Mohammed.

You don't have to wait for the FJ owners to provide any points ....You know most of them.

The thing for me is this. There are cars that are good off road (Jeep) but not so good for daily use. Then there are cars that are good on the road (Range Rover, Prado, Hummer etc) but are not that good off road.

Then there are cars that are good both on and off the road (FJ, LC 70, Patrol)

Now for these then you have to look at the prices and the fun potential and here the FJ wins hands down. So as far as I can see its the best both off road and on the road. The Patrol costs a bomb and the LC 70 though superior is performance lacks that look that the FJ has and what can I say about the Hummer !

With the FJ I can drive at 160 KMPH on cruise control and be at the meet points anywhere in the UAE in superb comfort and style. In the sands with a good liftkit and a bit of tweaks I can go anywhere I want + I don't break a thing on the FJ.

This is what makes the FJ special. Buy it and take it to the desert and it will make you happy. Buy it add a good suspension, intake, exhaust and maybe a Unichip and you are the KING !

This is a car with almost no weak points or manifacturing defect, nothing on it will break however hard you try. The only disadvantage I personnal feel is that the fuel tank is a bit small and limits your range and thats all.

If I had the chance to change anything on the FJ all I would do is to add a Sunroof !

Actually there are some advantages of the windscreen being small and it being angled almost flat means that the heat and the sun's rays dont come directly into the car which means it doesn't get very hot inside like it would in a car with a regular sized windscreen.

I don't have any film on my FJ and don't feel the need to get it.

The small windscreen also doesn't reduce the forward view fromt the drivers seat in any manner, its only the top view thta is somewhat restricted so if you are waiting at the front of the line on a traffic light you will have to bend down slightly to see it properly.

Regardsing the price I feel it is not that expensive compared to say a Patrol

Another point is with regards to the ECU. The FJ has an ECU with a learning capacity which adapts to different grades of fuel and styles of driving which is a great feature.

i think, FJ cruiser is the best practical off road car,,as far as breaking down and off road capabilities,
